We Offer Two Distinct Styles
Masterpiece Finish
Those who love the commissioned oil painting look gravitate towards the MASTERPIECE portrait. Your family portrait will fit right in with your art collections around your home. Complete with enhanced customization of all aspects of the final piece, from the details in the suitcoat to the highlights on the jewelry and especially the background, we are able to create a one-of-a-kind forever portrait. The pigmented inks on USA made canvas used in your portrait are covered with a UV inhibitor and have a life expectancy of over 100 years. Sizing starts at 30”. This archival product will be passed down for generations and the bold texture and rich oil brush strokes (optional) rival that of a John Singer Sargent.
Realism Finish
A REALISM portrait is a photograph and is produced on archival crystal textured fine art paper. With the Realism the artistry occurs mainly over the face and eyes, and everything else is left untouched. We use our signature, custom-made, hand-painted, blue-gray canvas for the backdrop which brings out the skin tones of our subjects. Our artists handle all aspects of your portrait with artistry. This beautiful artwork is covered with UV protection and is currently rated for 80+ years.

Framing
A completed original portrait should include a frame and be lit. Created with the most discerning artistry, the frames at Mallory Portraits use exclusively selected woods and are individually built by hand from master craftsmen in Europe.
We prefer gold-toned frames for all of our work to bring out the skin tones of the individuals. However, we do offer additional frame styles depending on your personal preference; from modern to classic in various colors.
For those looking to masterfully display their new artwork, we also offer a unique custom built frame light. Your Art Director will be able to guide you through the entire selection process at your viewing appointment.
