Planning for your Family Portrait
Going to a nice restaurant, attending a wedding, or a fundraising gala are the few times we tend to dress formally. At these events we want to present our best self as we celebrate with family and friends.
Your family portrait is also a celebration!
As a distinguished studio, our backgrounds and lighting are tailored to render your portrait as a timeless work of art. This will likely be the most elegant and meaningful portrait you may have in a lifetime.
You have the opportunity to dress casually every day. This experience is so much more and should represent your forever legacy. For the best results, we suggest you dress timeless and classic to ensure your portrait stands the test of time.
We have a changing area before you enter the studio if you prefer not to wrinkle your outfits in transit.
Suggestions;
Women – Elegant dresses or gowns that flow past the knees, classic jewelry (pearls & diamonds) is encouraged, French manicure or simple clean nails, and professional makeup application recommended
Men – Suit or tuxedo, white shirt, tie, freshly shaven
Girls – Dresses, lighter colors are acceptable, please remove old nail polish
Boys – May resemble men, suit coat or sweater, or white shirt with a bow tie

**Please note, all children being photographed alone (without an adult in the portrait) must be at least 5 years old.**
